BranDAN West, 41, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, May 23, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Laurel, MS on Wednesday, July 25, 1984, to Ivy Gene West, Jr. and Benita May West. He worked as an Assistant Driller for the Helix Energy Solutions Group. BranDAN will always be remembered for his Big Heart and his Love for Life.

   BranDAN is preceded in death by his brother, Gene West; grandparents, Bennie and Yvonne May and Ivy and Charlene West; uncle, Charlie West. He is survived by his mother, Benita West; father, Ivy West, both of Waynesboro, MS; brother, Joshua West of Mobile, AL; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

   Visitation for BranDAN will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Tommy Davis officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
