Mr. Bobby Sargent Phillips, Jr., 61, of Waynesboro, MS died Friday, December 3, 2021 at Wayne General Hospital. He was born in Jonesville, LA on Sunday, November 13, 1960 to Bobby S. Phillips, Sr. and Dirce C. Phillips. He was a member of Clara First Church of God.  He worked as a Lease Operator at Denbury Onshore. Mr. Bobby is preceded in death by his first wife, Teresa K. Phillips; second wife, Sharon Phillips; father, Bobby S. Phillips, Sr. and mother, Dirce C. Phillips; and sister, Betty Brown. He is survived by his son, Chad Phillips (Jenna), Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Heather Phillips, Waynesboro, MS; step son, Jason Stokley; step daughter, Lindsey Merrit, Waynesboro, MS; two sisters, Barbara Cameron, Rhinehart, LA, Annette Phillips, Pollock, LA; and 6 Grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Bobby will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Cooper officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery.
