Mr. Billy Ray "B. R." Hankins, 78, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, May 13, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Laurel, MS on Wednesday, September 15, 1943 to Clyde Hankins and Bertha Lee Hankins. He was retired as Self-employed Architect. Mr. B. R.  is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Hankins; mother, Bertha Lee Hankins; sister, Betty Jean Walters. He is survived by his wife of 57 Years, Dianne Hankins, Waynesboro, MS; two daughters, Vicky Hankins, Ridgeland, MS, Leigh Hankins Walters, Waynesboro, MS; granddaughter, Savannah Walters, Waynesboro, MS. Graveside Services for Mr. B. R. will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Maynor Creek Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Marvin Griffin officiating.
