Mrs. Betty Jones Davidson, 88, of State Line, MS passed from this life Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg. She was born in State Line on Tuesday, July 4, 1933 to Oscar Jones and Lottie Jones. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Betty is preceded in death by her father, Oscar Jones; mother, Lottie Jones; son, James Larry Mills; brother, Huey Jones; sister, Eloise Platt; granddaughter, Angela Mills Gaston. She is survived by her two sons, Michael Mills (Cindy), Chunchula, AL, David Mills (Gina), State Line, MS; two sisters, Audrey Long, Vera Dixon, both of Mobile, AL; seven grandchildren, Chris Mills, Deanna Shurtz (Geno), Kenneth Mills (Samantha), Denna Mills, Grant Mills (Allison), Carey Rome, Jamie Cannon; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services for Mrs. Betty will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Johnson Creek Cemetery in State Line, MS with Rev. Johnny Coaker officiating.
