Mrs. Betsy Helen (Ross) Bazor of Clara, MS entered this world on June 26, 1944 to parents Terry and Priscilla (Mills) Ross. She passed peacefully at Southern Living Specialty Care after an extended illness on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.

Betsy was a graduate of Clara High School and Jones County Junior College. Betsy accompanied her husband, Freddy, as he completed studies at Mississippi State University. She worked as a Bookkeeper for Bazor Pulpwood Company prior to her illness. Betsy was a faithful member of Clara United Methodist Church spending many years as organist.

She dearly loved her family including her husband, Freddy, son Brantley and his wife Tina, and especially her grandchildren, Brittney, Jennifer, and Brant. Betsy was preceded in death by her parents, Terry Ross, and Priscilla (Mills) Ross, sister, Jane (Ross) Hutto, Brother-In-Law, Albert Hutto, Father-In-Law, Fred Bazor, Mother-In-Law, Yuba (Smith) Bazor-Bowling, and Percy Bowling. Betsy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Freddy Bazor; son, Brantley Bazor (Tina); three grandchildren, Brittney Bazor, Jennifer Volrath (Blake), Brant Bazor; niece, Suzanne Smith (Bo); nephew, Terry Hutto; two great nephews, Chan Smith, Ross Hutto.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Betsy will be held a 2:00 PM Thursday, April 21, 2022 at White House Cemetery in Clara with Rev. Jesse Long, III and Rev. Curtis Cain officiating.

Mr. Bazor and family wish to give special thanks to Stan Trigg and all staff of Southern Living Specialty Care, Dr. Kelvin Sherman, and Wayne General Hospital for the years of care given to Mrs. Betsy.
