Mrs. Berle Powe Davis, 90, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at her daughter, Audrey Cochran's residence. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Wednesday, November 25, 1931 to George Prentiss Powe, Sr. and Gladys Donnaree Powe. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Berle is preceded in death by her father, George Prentiss Powe, Sr.; mother, Gladys Donnaree Powe; son, Mike Davis; daughter, Cathy Donnaree Davis; sister, Henrietta Corley. She is survived by her son, Dr. James Greg Davis (Mari), Cullman, AL; three daughters, Lisa West (Sol), Buckatunna, MS; Kay Clark (John Mark), Waynesboro, MS; Audrey Cochran (Ronald), Waynesboro, MS; brother, Alex Powe, Petal, MS; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Berle will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Winchester United Methodist Church, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Winchester United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Walker officiating. Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Winchester United Methodist Church Cemetery Association.
