Mrs. Beatrice E. Jones, 92, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, September 2, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Bangor, ME on Wednesday, January 1, 1930 to the late Seth Albert Watts and Dorothy Mae (Clark) Watts. She was a member of Trinity First Baptist Church. She was retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse at South Central Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her husband, James V. Jones; father, Seth Albert Watts; mother, Dorothy Mae Watts; brother, Melvin Watts; great grandson, Aaron Mizell. She is survived by her son, Rev. Ronald F. Boober (Audrey) of Waynesboro, MS, Gregory Allen Boober of Eddington, ME; two sisters, Barbara Fogg of Portland, ME, Audrey Keeling of Ada, OK; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Jones will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Trinity First Baptist Cemetery in Wayne County, MS with Dr. Richard Bradley and Rev. Ronald Boober officiating. Interment will be in Trinity First Baptist Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
