Mr. Basil Eugene "Tony" Weaver, Jr., 78, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, March 22, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Wednesday, August 13, 1947, to the late Basil Eugene "Shine" Weaver, Sr. and Dorothy Jean "Dotty Jean" Weaver. He was a member of Wayne Haven United Methodist Church.  Tony was a proud small business owner of Quick Way Curb Mart for over 20 years and a charter member of the Waynesboro Kiwanis Club where he served many positions over the years including president, as well as lieutenant governor for the Mississippi/Louisiana/Tennessee district.

Mr. Weaver is preceded in death by his parents, Basil Eugene "Shine" Weaver, Sr. and Dorothy Jean "Dotty Jean" Weaver; stepmother, Mary Lee Bayne; brother, Jerry Weaver; stepsister, Jan Clark; Brother-In-Law, Don Clark. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Angela Moody Weaver of Waynesboro, MS; three daughters, Stacy Hill (Edwin) of Humble, TX, Candice Mathews, and Leslie Doby (Jeremy), all of Waynesboro, MS; three grandsons, Jared Doby, Connor Doby, and Caleb Mathews; sister, Anne Weaver Dear of Laurel, MS; many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Weaver will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Tom Walker officiating. Interment will be in Hebron Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
