Mrs. Barbara Helen McLain, 81, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, November 4, 2024 at Wayne General Hospital. She was born in Waynesboro on Friday, December 4, 1942 to William Hutcherson and Maggie Hutcherson. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church. Mrs. McLain is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Arthur McLain; father, William Hutcherson; mother, Maggie Hutcherson; 2 brothers; 5 sisters. She is survived by her son, Michael Lee Hutcherson, Waynesboro, MS; two daughters, Carolyn Ann Beasley, Waynesboro, MS, Melissa Miller, Purvis, MS; 5 grandchildren, Nicky Thompson (John), Becky Singley (Matt), Justin Hutcherson (Heidi), Kristen Hutcherson, Frankie Miller; 5 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. McLain will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, November 8, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Rickey Williams and Rev. Mike Ainsworth officiating. Interment will be in McLain Chapel Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. Pallbearers are Matt Singley, John Thompson, Frankie Miller, Justin Hutcherson, Hunter Williams, Josh Williams. Honorary Pallbearers are Brian Cherry, Alex McCarty.
