Baby Lucas Wayne Pearson, 5 months old, of Vinegar Bend, AL passed from this life Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Children's Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham, AL. He was born in Mobile, AL on Sunday, July 6, 2025, to Joshua Pearson and Torey Mizell. Baby Lucas is preceded in death by his grandfather, Elvis Mizell; great grandparents, Ann Mizell, Edward Mizell, Peggy Harvison, Bo Harvison, and Terry Wayne Burton. He is survived by his parents, Joshua Pearson and Torey Mizell of Vinegar Bend, AL; brother, Elijah Pearson; two sisters, Lilly Pearson and Aleeyah Farmer; grandmothers, Amy Mizell and Faith Pearson; great grandparents, Carolyn Henderson, George Henderson, and Terri Burton; aunts and uncles, Jacob Mizell, Whitney Hernandez, and Lauren Pearson (Tyler); special cousin and caregiver, Makayla Williamson; a host of great aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation for Baby Lucas will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Mike Mizell officiating. Interment will be in Four Points Cemetery in Washington County, AL.
