Mrs. Azaline Bonner, 92, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, November 6, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Greene County, MS on Saturday, July 19, 1930 to the late William Claude Burgess and Vermell (Walley) Burgess. She was a member of Winchester United Methodist Church. She retired as an Office Administrator at Bonner Dental Clinic in Waynesboro, MS. Mrs. Bonner is preceded in death by her husband, O. E. "Pete" Bonner; parents, William Claude Burgess and Vermell Burgess; two brothers, William "Vardie" Burgess, John Allen Burgess; four sisters, Zeline Rainwater, Mary Lynn Mayo, Glendine Holliman, Texine Smith. She is survived by her five children, Jerry Bonner (Robin) of Waynesboro, MS, Carol Alman (Kenny) of Slidell, LA, Dale Bonner (Debbie) of Quitman, MS, Garey Bonner (Linda), Kay Jones (Bobby), all of Waynesboro, MS; brother, J. C. "Bud" Burgess of Buckatunna, MS; two sisters, Aline Rigney (Johnny Paul) of Waynesboro, MS, Peggy Snellgrove (James) of Shubuta, MS; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Bonner will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Tom Walker officiating. Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
