Mrs. April Odom Dearmon, 37, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Wayne General Hospital. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Saturday, April 7, 1984 to Rusty Odom and Regina Odom. She was a member of Eret Baptist Church. She worked as a Teacher for the Wayne County School District at Clara School. Mrs. April is survived by her husband of 17 years, Danny Dearmon, Buckatunna, MS; father, Rusty Odom; mother, Regina Odom, both State Line, MS; two sons, Logan Dearmon, Waynesboro, MS, Judson Dearmon, Buckatunna, MS; two daughters, Sarah Dearmon, Sophie Dearmon, both of Buckatunna, MS; brother, Isaac Odom (Amber), State Line, MS; sister, Amber Walley (Richard), Waynesboro, MS; cousin, Amy Ulmer, Laurel, MS; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation for Mrs. April will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Glenn Bynum, Rev. Lisa Taylor, and Rev. Richard Roach officiating. Interment will be in Eret Baptist Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
