Mrs. Annie Lou Griffith, 88, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Wayne County, MS on Sunday, May 23, 1937, to the late Dewitt Talmadge Long, Sr. and Verda Pitts Long. She was a member of Center Ridge Baptist Church.

Mrs. Griffith is preceded in death by her husband, Parker Griffith; parents, Dewitt Talmadge Long, Sr. and Verda Pitts Long; brothers, Leo Long, Talmadge Long, Jr., and Albert Long; sisters, Mary Nell Prince, Pauline Foxworth, Myrtle Holcomb, Mattie McIlwain, Voncile Verda Long, and Geneva Kelly. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas Parker Griffith (Sandra) of Waynesboro, MS and Wallace Griffith (Rhonda) of Meridian, MS; daughter, Susan Nicholson (Gary) of Shubuta, MS; grandchildren, Jacob Griffith, Tal Griffith, Kaleigh Griffith, and Mason Nicholson; great granddaughter, Serenity Griffith.

Visitation for Mrs. Griffith will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Geneva Presbyterian Church in Matherville, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Geneva Presbyterian Church in Matherville, MS with Rev. Bobby Walker officiating. Interment will be in Geneva-Horne Cemetery in Matherville, MS. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Gideons International.
