Mr. Andre Hendry, 84, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Southern Living Specialty Care Residency in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Laurel, MS on Sunday, March 21, 1937 to Elmer Floyd Hendry and Mary Jewel Anderson Hendry. Mr. Hendry served in the United States Marine Corps. He was retired as a driller in the Oil Field. Mr. Hendry is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Hendry; father, Elmer Floyd Hendry; mother, Mary Jewel Anderson Hendry; two daughters, Hazel Monica Hendry, Pamela Kay Bunch; several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Gloria Kelley (Terry), Buckatunna, MS; brother, Robert "Bob" Hendry (Sarah), Waynesboro, MS; three sisters, Gayle Speed, Waynesboro, MS, Mary Murphy, Arkansas, Diane Mozingo, Laurel, MS; five grandchildren, Jon Welford, Tony Cochran, Jr., Scott Bunch, Lydia Marie Ross, Mary Law; 12 great grandchildren. Graveside Services for Mr. Hendry will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 7, 2022 at Hendry Family Cemetery, 98 Camp Branch Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367 with Rev. Aaron Cooley officiating. Interment will be in Hendry Family Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. In leu of flowers donations may be made to Batson Children's Hospital, 2500 North State Street, Jackson, MS 39216.
