Mr. Allen Lee "Big Al" Hyatt, 74, of State Line, MS passed from this life Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Landmark of Collins in Collins, MS. He was born in Laurel, MS on Tuesday, October 19, 1948, to the late Allen Boyd and Evelyn (Stephenson) Hyatt. He retired as a welder at Alabama Electric Corporation. Mr. Hyatt is preceded in death by his wife, Benita Hyatt; parents, Allen Boyd and Evelyn Louise Hyatt. He is survived by his son, Cody Hyatt of Buckatunna, MS; two daughters, Jaime Crager (Jeremy), Kristen Moss (Jarrett), both of State Line, MS; two stepsons, Terry Smith (Leigh) of Hattiesburg, MS, Paul Smith (Felicia) of Collins, MS; ten grandchildren, Braxton, Sayer, Ryder, Kyndall, Hayden, Taylor, Zackary, Kealy, Abrianna, and P. J.; two great grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Hyatt will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Marvin "Bo" Farrior, Jr. officiating.
