Mrs. Aline Becton, 89, of Millry, AL passed from this life Saturday, June 24, 2023 at residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Washington County, AL on Friday, November 17, 1933 to the late Alvin and Lottie Mae Guy. She was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church. She retired as a glove factory worker at Wells Lamont. Mrs. Becton is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Lottie Mae Guy; three brothers, Nolan Guy, Prentice Guy, Donald Guy; two sisters, Pauline Burgess, Doris Odom; grandson, Chad Conner; great granddaughter, Arizona Holyfield; great-great grandson, Grayson Tate. She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Eugene Becton; son, Mitchell "Mickey" Becton (Nancy), both of Millry, AL; two daughters, Bobbie Nell Taylor (Joe) of Waynesboro, MS, Gayle Harper (Mark) of Quitman, MS; three brothers, Nelson Guy of Millry, AL, Johnny Guy of Chatom, AL, Billy Guy; sister, Patsy Sullivan, Millry, both of AL; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Becton will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday, June 26, 2023 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, June 26, 2023 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Millry, AL with Rev. Scott Giles, Rev. Mike Chatham, and Rev. James West officiating. Interment will be in Guy Cemetery in Millry, AL. Pallbearers are Mitchell Becton, Steven Holyfield, Brooks Conner, Dustin Dearmon, Tommy McIlwain, Ricky Sullivan, James H. West, and Seth Becton.
