Adam Burns, 36, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, September 11, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Hattiesburg on Saturday, January 12, 1985 to Greg Burns and Deana Burns. He was a member of Waynesboro Church of Christ. Upon high school graduation Adam enlisted and served in the United States Army National Guard and was a Veteran of the Iraq War. Adam is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ruben Mills; paternal grandparents, Bennie Burns and Jo Ann Burns. He is survived by his father, Greg Burns; mother, Deana Burns; brother, Grant Burns (Layla), all of Waynesboro, MS; grandmother, Charlotte Mills Jones (James), Piave, MS; two nephews, Brae Burns, Blaine Burns, both of Waynesboro, MS; two uncles, Rodney Burns (Anna), Waynesboro, MS, David Mills (Sarita), Ellisville, MS; two aunts, Donna Mills, Petal, MS, Dedra Perry (Chris), Richton, MS; a host of cousins and other relatives. Graveside Services for Adam will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Serenity Gardens Cemetery, Waynesboro, MS with Seth Sullivan officiating.
