Mr. William Roan "Billy" Cran, 79, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Saturday, September 16, 1939. He worked in the oil field as a Drilling Consultant. Mr. Cran is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cran, Waynesboro, MS; 2 sons, William Cran (Linda), Anthony Cran (Tanya) both of Waynesboro, MS; 2 daughters, Cynthia Odom (Bobby), Collinsville, MS, Beth Brashier (Eddie), Laurel, MS; step son, Mackie Beasley (Angela), Clara, MS; step daughter, Sonja Newsome (Tony), Strengthford, MS; brother, C. E. Cran (Louise), Pontotoc, MS; 16 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 nephews, Jeffery Gray (Lisa), Waynesboro, MS, Clifton Cran, Pontotoc, MS. The family will honor Mr. Cran with private funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital.
