Mr. Walter Perry Waite, 70, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, April 1, 2018 in Shubuta. He was born in Waynesboro on Friday, June 6, 1947 to Lloyd Waite, Sr. and Viola Waite. He worked as an operator at Masonite Corporation. Mr. Waite is preceded in death by his mother, Viola Waite; father, Lloyd Waite, Sr. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Crystal Bankston (Evan Pugh) of Shubuta, MS, Tanya Waldron (Robert) of State Line, MS; 2 brothers, William Waite (Lorraine), Lloyd Waite, Jr. (Laura) both of Laurel, MS; 2 sisters, Annette Guy (James), Janette Bishop (Roland) both of Millry, AL; 5 grandchildren, Blake Pugh (Casey), Chandler Pugh (Cassidy), Braxton Philyaw (Brittany), Hunter Philyaw, Dawson Philyaw; great grandchild, Gunner Reeves. Pallbearers are: Al Harrison, W M "Bobo" Waite, Steve Odom, Cade Doby, Freddie Giles, and Mike Giles. Visitation for Mr. Waite will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Jordan and Rev. Cheryl Lankford officiating. Interment will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Millry, AL.
