Mrs. Vida Mae Touchstone, 93, of Millry, AL passed from this life Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Washington County Nursing Home. She was born in Washington County, Alabama on Saturday, August 2, 1924 to Will Kirkland, Sr. and Mae Kirkland. She was a member of Sandridge Church of God. She was the Owner/Operator of Touchstone Grocery for many years. Mrs. Vida Mae is preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Touchstone; father, Will Kirkland, Sr. and mother, Mae Kirkland; 3 brothers, Vinel Kirkland, Randolph Kirkland, Uhbern Kirkland. She is survived by her daughter, Thelma Touchstone Robinson (Billy), Millry, AL; 2 granddaughters, Sheila Herron (Mark), Millry, AL, Sandra Yates (Lance), Hoover, AL; great-granddaughter, Autumn Brooke Caldwell (Jacob), Hoover, AL; brother, Will O. Kirkland, Jr., Millry, AL; a host of Nieces and Nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Vida Mae will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, June 4, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 4, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Jon Brown officiating. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery in Millry, AL. Pallbearers are Norman Hill, John Kirkland, Ken Touchstone, Jody Patrick, Bo Kirkland, Carlton Sullivan.
