Mrs. Verna Dean Touchstone, 89, of Millry, AL passed from this life Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Asbury Hospice in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born in Washington County, AL on Thursday, December 20, 1928 to Bill Mackey and Allie Mackey. She was a member of New Bethel Holiness Church. Mrs. Touchstone is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Lee Touchstone; mother, Allie Mackey; father, Bill Mackey; sister, Jessie Lee Kanaly. She is survived by her son, James Glenn Touchstone (Alese), Millry, AL; daughter Debbie Dearmon (Donald), Millry, AL; 5 grandchildren, Gwen Hubbard, Tina Sullivan, James "Bo" Touchstone, Misty Mason, Gayla Patrick; 9 great grandchildren, Cory Seale, Joseph Seale, Stanton Sullivan, Slade Sullivan, Seth Sullivan, Trey Hall, Jackie Hall, Cheyanne Touchstone, Xander Mason; 3 great-great grandchildren, Vegas Sullivan, Case Sullivan, Ansley Seale; 2 special and devoted friends, Stacey Blanchard, Anna Vergie Dearmon. Visitation for Mrs. Touchstone will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, July 13, 2018 at New Bethel Holiness Church in Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 14, 2018 at New Bethel Holiness Church in Millry, AL with Rev. Ray Odom, Rev. Jim Koen, and Rev. Terry Lee Hartley officiating. Interment will be in New Bethel Cemetery in Millry, AL.
