Vera Nadene Caves

Mrs. Vera Nadene Caves, 85, of Clara, MS passed from this life Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at her residence while surrounded by loving family. She was born in Waynesboro on Wednesday, April 11, 1934 to Bertrand Polk and Rennie Bell Polk. She was a member of Clara First Church of God. She retired after 17 years at the blanket factory, Northern Electric Company. Mrs. Nadene is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harvey E. Caves; her father, Bertrand Polk and mother, Rennie Bell Polk; four brothers, Norman Polk, V. C. Polk, Babe Polk, Curtis Polk; three sisters, K. C. Stevens, Eunice Smith, Daisy Jones. She is survived by four daughters, Belinda Taylor (Jack), Ocean Springs, MS; Rhonda Pierce, Clara, MS, Theresa Johnson (Ed), Niceville, FL, Renee Waller (Joey), Clara, MS; sister-in-law, Ella Mae Polk, Mobile, AL; nine grandchildren, Josh, April, Salina, Cortnee, Kevin, Derrick, Jeremy, Kyle, Brandon; 21 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild; several Nieces and Nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Nadene will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, January 3, 2020 at Clara First Church of God, 214 Big Creek Road, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM Friday, January 3, 2020 at Clara First Church of God with Rev. Chris Cooper and Rev. Edward Bean officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery.
