Tom Wickersham

Mr. Tom Wickersham, 77, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born in Illinois on Friday, May 3, 1940 to the late Daniel Wickersham and Nora Wickersham. He worked as a Correctional Officer at South Mississippi Department of Corrections. He was a member of Zion Rest Baptist Church. Mr. Wickersham is survived by his loving wife, Mary Helen Wickersham of Buckatunna, MS; son, Brian Wickersham (Margaret) of Birmingham, AL; 4 daughters, Lisa Hill (Donnie) of Birmingham, AL, Sherri Merrill (Douglas) of Waynesboro, MS, Shelia Nicholson (Jimmy) of Buckatunna, MS, Sonia Wadley of Clara, MS; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Wickersham will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Mark Ferguson officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
