Mr. Steve McLaughlin, 57, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, July 11, 2019 at his residence, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Friday, September 15, 1961 to Albert McLaughlin and Ouida Giles McLaughlin. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He worked in the Oil Field as a Production Foreman with Stone Energy. Steve is preceded in death by father, Albert McLaughlin; mother, Ouida McLaughlin. He is survived by his wife, Katherine McLaughlin, Waynesboro, MS; 2 sons, Kyle McLaughlin (Bethanie), Camp Humphreys, South Korea; Nathan McLaughlin (Heather), Clara, MS; grandchild, Kira McLaughlin; brother, Keith McLaughlin (Cindy), Waynesboro, MS; sister, Tonda Farrior (Bo), Waynesboro, MS; brother-in-law, D. J. Galjour (Jane), Galliano, LA; 2 sisters-in-law, Angelic Brunet (Todd), Thibodaux, LA, Barbara Hymel (Edward), Marrero, LA; 7 nephews, Matt McLaughlin (Tonia), Heath McLaughlin, David Farrior, Drew Hymel, Jake Galjour, Derrick Galjour, Chad Galjour; and niece, Lauren Tortorich. Visitation for Steve will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Bo Farrior officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Waynesboro.
