Mrs. Shirley R. Mosley, 79, a resident of Shubuta, MS passed from this life on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Jasper County, MS on Thursday, December 15, 1938 to Thomas and Myrtis Cook. She was member of Eucutta Independent Church and was retired as a teacher's aide and van driver for the Wayne County Community Development Center. Mrs. Mosley is preceded in death by her mother, Myrtis Kitchens; father, Thomas E. Cook; 3 brothers, Grover Logan, Paul Logan, Buddy Cook; sister, Sandra Buckner. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Lee C. Mosley of Shubuta, MS; son, Kenny R. Mosley (Becky) of Shubuta, MS; 3 daughters, Cindy Herrington of Shubuta, MS, Debbie Winn (Rodney) of Shubuta, MS, Josette Mosley of Ellisville, MS; 4 brothers, Johnny Logan of Shubuta, MS, Butch Logan of Brookhaven, MS, Donnie Logan of Houma, LA, Jerry Cook of Quitman, MS; sister, Sarah West of Quitman, MS; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Mosley will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in the Eucutta Independent Church, 126 Springhill Church Road, Shubuta, MS 39360. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from the Eucutta Independent Church in Shubuta, MS with Bro. Roger Pruitt and Bro. Mickey Walls officiating. Interment will be in Goodwater Cemetery in Clarke County, MS.
