Rodney Lynn Wilson

Mr. Rodney Lynn Wilson, 60, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, January 27, 2018 at his residence in Waynesboro. He was born in Mobile, AL on Saturday, March 9, 1957 to Lindsey Wilson and Sarah Nell Freeman. He worked as a self-employed carpenter. Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his father, Lindsey Wilson; son, Christopher Wilson. He is survived by his mother, Sarah Nell Freeman of Waynesboro; step father, Floyd Freeman of Waynesboro; two daughters, Amy Hollinghead (Wesley), Sonya Wilson both of Millry, AL; sister, Lisa Burch (J. R.) of Saraland, AL; five grandchildren, Jayla, Jaiden, Makaia, Justus, and Keegan; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Pallbearers are: Wesley Hollinghead, J. R. Burch, Jimmy Dale McIlwain, Bradley Koger, Timmy Holifield, and Josh Wells. Visitation for Mr. Wilson will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro with Rev. James Parmer officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro.
