Mr. Robert O. Harrison, 81, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Scott County, MS on Friday, May 7, 1937 to Robert O. Harrison, Sr. and Warrine Stokes Harrison. Mr. Harrison served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Central Independant Baptist Church. He retired as a electrician at Dixie Electric. Mr. Harrison is preceded in death by his mother, Warrine Stokes Harrison; father, Robert O. Harrison, Sr.; sister, Betty Jean Harrison Everett. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Melvie Harrison, Waynesboro, MS; 2 sons, Craig Harrison (Devie), Magnolia, TX, Al Harrison (Remona), Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Christi Quick (Brent), Waynesboro, MS; brother, Bobby Ray Harrison (Janie), Morton, MS; 3 sisters, Juanita Gray (Allen), Yazoo City, MS, Inez Hammock, Long Beach, MS, Vermell Windham, Forrest, MS; 6 grandchildren, Ben Harrison (Lace), Clint Harrison (Kristen), Grant Harrison (Racayle), Erin Toth (Josh), Lauren Quick, Mollie Quick; 3 great grandsons, Preston Harrison, Brennan Harrison, Conner Harrison; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Harrison will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, November 15, 2018 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 16, 2018 in the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Bernice Fleming and Rev. Carlton McNeer officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
