Richard Earl Brewer

Mr. Richard Earl Brewer, 84, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, FL. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Saturday, November 16, 1935 to Richard Brewer and Annie Brewer. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Earl was a member of the Lions Club International for many years, The Gideons International, and served on the White House Cemetery Committee. He worked as a Manager at Bedsole's Department Store in Waynesboro. Mr. Earl is preceded in death by his wife, Margie Brewer; father, Richard Brewer; mother, Annie Brewer; brother, Harold Brewer. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Green (Joe), Pensacola, FL; 2 sisters, Aline Graham (Palmer), Waynesboro, MS, Shirley Hennis (Glenn), Waynesboro, MS; sister-in-law, Patricia Brewer, Mobile, AL; 2 grandchildren, Benjamin Green (Jessica), Laura Chaney (Greg); great-grandchild Zoey Chaney. Visitation for Mr. Earl will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 12, 2020 at White House Chapel with Rev. Paul Harris and Rev. Mitchell Smith officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Gideons International.
