Mr. Paul Burney Shirley, 78, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Friday, September 22, 1939 to the late Nealie Shirley and Bertie Shirley. He was retired as a salesman at North Pacific. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Mr. Shirley is preceded in death by his wife, Tobie Lois Shirley. He is survived by 3 daughters, Angie Batte (Steve) of Ellisville, MS, Christie Lopez (Ron), Robyn Dumas (Tony) both of Clara, MS; 3 brothers, John Robert Shirley (Pattie) of Waynesboro, MS, Nealie Shirley of Brandon, MS, Earnest Shirley of Grenada, MS; 5 grandchildren, Trey Batte, Jaymen Dumas, Sydney James, Gunner West, Payne West. Visitation for Mr. Shirley will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive Waynesboro, MS 39367. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Randy McLeod officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
