Marleen (Pace) Hartley

Mrs. Marleen Hartley, 89, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro. She was born in Waynesboro on Sunday, December 2, 1928 to Jim and Maude Pace. She was a member of West Shady Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Hartley is preceded in death by her husband, L. C. Hartley, Sr.; father, Jim Pace and mother, Maude Pace; 3 Brothers and 1 Sister. She is survived by 2 sons, L. C. Hartley, Jr., Waynesboro, MS, James Michael Hartley (Susan), Carrollton, GA; daughter, Carolyn H. Payton, Powder Springs, GA; 8 Grandchildren and a host of Great Grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Hartley will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, April 9, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Street officiating. Interment will be in Arrington Cemetery.
