Mrs. Margie Ruth Brewer, 82, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, May 7, 2018 at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Wednesday, February 5, 1936 to Frank and Lillian Skipper. She worked as a final checker at the Blanket Factory. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Brewer is preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Skipper; father, Frank Skipper; 2 brothers, Hazen Skipper, Buren Skipper. She is survived by her loving husband, Earl Brewer, Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Carol Green (Joe), Pensacola, FL; 2 sister-in-law's, Peggy Skipper, Pearl, MS, Patricia Brewer, Mobile, AL; grandson, Ben Green (Jessica), Pensacola, FL; granddaughter, Laura Chaney (Greg), Yuma, AZ; great granddaughter, Zoey Chaney, Yuma, AZ. Visitation for Mrs. Brewer will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Paul Harris officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorials to be made to Gideon International/Memorial Bibles.
