Mack Harold Cochran, 78, was born July 12, 1941 to Charles Printess Cochran and Floye Bazor Cochran in Pearl River County, Mississippi.
Mack loved reminiscing and talking about his days of playing football- both at Hattiesburg High School and at Pearl River Community College, where he was inducted into their Hall of Fame a few years back.
Mack worked for several years at Big Creek Yards and Gardens in Clara.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Printess and Floye Bazor Cochran; three brothers, Charles Printess Cochran, Jr., Joey Cochran, and Russel Cheney.
He is survived by his son, Mark Allen Cochran and daughter, Lori Cochran Y’Barbo, both of Houston, TX; and five grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Jarvis Cochran of Arizona, Gary Cochran of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Patsy Cochran Speights of Port Allen, LA, and Cheryll Cochran of Euless, TX.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, November 24, 2019 from the graveside at White House Cemetery. Freeman Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
