Mrs. Lavon Pugh, 73, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Wayne General Hospital, MS. She was born in Gilbertown, AL on Tuesday, February 20, 1945 to Frank and Mamie Lewis Adams. She was a Homemaker. Lavon is preceded in death by her mother, Mamie Lewis Adams; brothers, Bobby Adams, Larry Adams; sister, Sharon Adams. She is survived by her husband, Mallard C. Pugh, Waynesboro, MS; father, Frank Adams, Gilbertown, AL; daughters, Shawn Kelley McNiel, Raleigh, MS, Tonya Kelley, Waynesboro, MS; step-daughter, Nina Graham, Ovett, MS; step-sons, Kelley Pugh, Steve Pugh, both of Laurel, MS; brothers, Prentiss Adams, Brandon, MS, Rev. Ronnie Adams, Gilbertown, AL; sister, Geraldine Adams Sullivan, Gilbertown, AL; 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews. Visitation for Lavon will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Adams and Rev. Fred Wiley officiating. Interment will be in Barrytown Cemetery in Gilbertown, AL.
