Mrs. Joyce Davis, 64, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, June 1, 2018 at Wayne General Hospital. She was born in Wayne County, MS on Wednesday, May 2, 1954 to Fred Walters and Marie Walters. She was a member of Clara First Church of God.  She worked as a Secretary at R. & J. Contract Well Service. Joyce is preceded in death by her father, Fred Walters. She is survived by her husband, Roger Davis, Waynesboro, MS; mother, Marie Walters, Waynesboro, MS; son, Rodney Davis (Julie), Waynesboro, MS; 2 brothers, Freddie Walters (Ellen), Leonard "Bo" Walters, (Shirry), both of Waynesboro, MS; 3 sisters, Helen Davis (Rev. Dooley), Waynesboro, MS, Jean Stennett, Waynesboro, MS, Linda Payton D'Auteuil, Baton Rouge, LA; granddaughter, Shelby Grace Davis, Waynesboro, MS; grandson, Rhyne Douglas Davis, Waynesboro, MS. Visitation for Joyce will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. William R. Mills and Rev. Dooley Davis officiating. Interment will be in Davis Family Cemetery.
