Mrs. Josephine M. "Pug" Gatlin, 84, of Shubuta, MS passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Shubuta on Wednesday November 30, 1932 to J. E. and Caroline McCoy. She worked as a  Licensed Practical Nurse. Mrs. Gatlin is preceded in death by her father, J. E. McCoy and mother, Caroline Whitaker McCoy; daughter, Joselyn Gatlin; 3 Brothers and 1 Sister. She is survived by her husband, John H. Gatlin, Shubuta, MS; 2 sons, Tony Gatlin, Shubuta, MS, Carey Gatlin, Waynesboro, MS; brother, J. E. McCoy, Jr., Shubuta, MS; 2 sisters, Katie Jones, Shubuta, MS, Jessie Stagg, Biloxi, MS. Visitation for Mrs. Gatlin will be held from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM, Monday, November 20, 2017 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 20, 2017 at Clear Creek Cemetery in Shubuta, MS with Rev. John Brown officiating.
