Mr. Johnnie M. Odom, 84, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Waynesboro on Wednesday, September 20, 1933 to Mack and Gladys Odom. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the H. S. Stansel Masonic Lodge #603 and the Shriners. He was retired from the Oil Field as a Pumper. Mr. Odom is preceded in death by his father, Mack Odom and mother, Gladys Odom; daughter, Kay Odom. He is survived by his wife, Ruth N. Odom, Waynesboro; son, Kenny Odom (Lesia), Waynesboro; sister, Mollie Barker, Jacksonville, FL; 2 granddaughters, Katie Odom, Emily Wood (Marshall), of Waynesboro; one great grandson, Wyatt Odom, Waynesboro. Visitation for Mr. Odom will be held from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, Friday, January 12, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, 615 South St., Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will follow at 10:30 AM Friday, January 12, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Harris and Rev. Michael Stevenson officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Baptist Children's Home.
