John Westley "Poodle" Sullivan

Mr. John Westley "Poodle" Sullivan, 64, of Millry, AL passed from this life Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Providence Hospital in Mobile, AL. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Friday, December 16, 1955 to Isaiah Samuel Sullivan, Jr. and Daisy L. Sullivan. He was a member of Tabernacle Holiness Church. He worked as an Operator at Ciba-Geigy Corporation. Mr. Sullivan is preceded in death by his father, Isaiah Samuel Sullivan, Jr.; brother, Gary Glen Sullivan; sister-in-law, Mel Ann Sullivan. He is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 43 years, Sadie Sullivan of Millry, AL; mother, Daisy L. Sullivan of Millry, AL; son, John Derrick Sullivan (Brittany) of Gilbertown, AL; 2 daughters, Candace Beasley (Henry) of Buckatunna, MS, Jada Gay (Jeremy) of Millry, AL; 3 brothers, Wiley Washington Sullivan (Gail), Wendell D. Sullivan (Linda Kay), Timothy Kent Sullivan (Teresa Kay), all of Millry, AL; 12 grandchildren, Tyler Beasley, Trevor Beasley, Tucker Beasley, Sara Jo Beasley, Jacob Gay, Claire Gay, Skyler Gay, Levi Gay, Everly Jane Gay, Tanner Sullivan, Kaylee Sullivan, Chandler Sullivan; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Sullivan will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, January 13, 2020 at Sandridge Church of God in Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Sandridge Church of God in Millry, AL with a Lie-In-State one hour prior to the funeral service with Rev. Larry Daugherty, Rev. Jimmy Lloyd, and Rev. Lamar Chapman officiating. Interment will be in Sandridge Cemetery in Millry, AL.  Pallbearers are Bibb Lowe, Tommy McIlwain, Scott Overstreet, Jay Dixon, Kendall Mosley, and Terry Middleton.
