Mrs. Jeanette Walker, 90, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Brookwood Villa Personal Care Home in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Laurel, MS on Saturday, October 20, 1928 to Ernest Grady Stanley and Vardie Cooper Stanley. She was a member of Waynesboro First Baptist Church. She worked as an associate sales clerk at Walmart in Waynesboro. Mrs. Walker is preceded in death by her husband, John W. "Cotton" Walker; father, Ernest Grady Stanley; mother, Vardie Cooper Stanley; 3 brothers, E. G. Stanley, Buddy Stanley, Joe Stanley; sister, Catherine Davis. She is survived by her 2 sons, Johnny Walker (Mavis), Steve Walker (Jackie) both of Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Tracy Cooley (David) of Petal, MS; sister, Mary Ann Thomas of Laurel, MS; 8 grandchildren, Susie Kelley (Terry), Jennifer Hall (Matt), Stephen Walker (Jelita), John Walker (Hope) all of Waynesboro, MS, Amber Nguyen (Michael) of New Orleans, LA, Channing Cooley (Shayna) of Clara, MS, Ragan Beasley (Colby) of Waynesboro, MS; Reid Cooley of Montgomery, AL; 13 great grandchildren, Kyla Dearman (Marcus), Carson Kelley, Cody Walker, Walker Hall, Talon Cooley, Cayden Diveley, Andie Hall, Maylen Cooley, Wilt Walker, Remington Beasley, Wyatt Walker, Ren Nguyen, Maddox Cooley. Serving as pallbearers are: Stephen Walker, John Walker, Channing Cooley, Carson Kelley, Cody Walker, and Chris Smith. Visitation for Mrs. Walker will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, April 26, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 26, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Steve Smith officiating. Interment will be in Waynesboro Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
