Janet "Kathy" (Parker) Williams

Mrs. Janet "Kathy" Williams, 60, of Laurel, MS passed from this life Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Jones County, MS on Thursday, March 20, 1958 to Rev. Mac B. Parker and Norma L. Davis Parker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesboro. She was retired from public health care system as a registered nurse. Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her parents, Norma L. and Rev. Mac B. Parker. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Ronald "Ronnie" Williams, Laurel, MS; daughter, Krystal W. Powe (Micah), Mobile, AL; brother, Rev. James E. Parker (Edna), Myrick, MS; 2 sisters, Linda Hearn, Myrick, MS, Jean Scruggs, Laurel, MS, a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Williams will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS. Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Sellers Cemetery in Wayne County, MS with Rev. Brent Parker officiating. Interment will be in Sellers Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
