Mr. Isaiah Sullivan, Jr., 91, of Millry, AL passed from this life Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS surrounded by his loving family and close friends. He was born in Buckatunna, MS on Saturday, April 7, 1928 to Isaiah Sullivan, Sr. and Jessie Dearmon Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan was a member of Tabernacle Holiness Church. He served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was retired as a welder at Ciba-Geigy Corporation. Mr. Sullivan is preceded in death by his parents, Isaiah Sullivan, Sr. and Jessie Dearmon Sullivan; son, Gary Glen Sullivan; daughter-in-law, Mel Ann Sullivan; 2 brothers, J. W. Sullivan, Sam Sullivan; 3 sisters, Lois Dyess, Heidi Burgess, Jeanette Williams; adopted brother, Rudy Sullivan. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Daisy L. Sullivan of Millry, AL; 4 sons, Wiley Washington Sullivan (Gail), John Westley "Poodle" Sullivan (Sadie), Wendell D. Sullivan (Linda Kay), Timothy Kent Sullivan (Teresa Kay) all of Millry, AL; adopted brother, Marlon Sullivan of Buckatunna, MS; adopted sister, Carrie Muriel Hall of Natchez, MS; 15 grandchildren, Jeffery Sullivan (Caroline), Ashley Ruis (Vic), Monica Cooper (Bradley), Candace Beasley (Henry), Jada Gay (Jeremy), Derrick Sullivan (Brittany), Katrina Dearman (Terence), Jeremy Sullivan, Melissa Walker (B. J.), Daniel Isaiah Sullivan (Jessica), Joshua Kent Sullivan, Hannah Elizabeth Sullivan, Britton Sullivan, Brae Sullivan, Breanna Sullivan; 32 great grandchildren. All of Mr. Sullivan's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation for Mr. Sullivan will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, April 29, 2019 at Sandridge Church of God in Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Sandridge Church of God in Millry, AL with Rev. Larry Daugherty, Rev. Jimmy Lloyd, Rev. Fred Wiley, and Rev. I. D. Sullivan officiating. Interment will be in Sandridge Cemetery in Millry, AL.
