Henry G. "Sig" Pitts

Mr. Henry G. "Sig" Pitts, 87, of Richton, MS passed from this life Friday, March 1, 2019 in Richton. He was born in Wayne County, MS on Monday, October 5, 1931 to T. W. "Bill" Pitts and Temperance Pitts. He was a member of Mulberry Missionary Baptist Church. He worked for the U. S. Forest Service. Mr. Pitts is preceded in death by his father, T. W. "Bill" Pitts and mother, Temperance Pitts; 5 brothers Herman Pitts, Bob Pitts, Arthur Louis Pitts, Ray Pitts, William Pitts, 3 sisters, Mildred Pitts Sanders, Jewel Cooley, Billie Faye Griffin. He is survived by 2 sisters, Racheal Finley (Darryl), Richton, MS, Mary Brewer, Pascagoula, MS; several Nieces and Nephews. Visitation for Mr. Pitts will be held from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Mulberry Missionary Baptist Church, Richton, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Mulberry Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Busby and Rev. Scott Morris officiating. Interment will be in Mulberry Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mark Pitts, Billy Sanders, Mike Porter, Mitchell Pitts, L. D. Cooley, Charles Busby. Honorary Pallbearers are Wayne Pitts, Teddy Pitts, Lamar Pitts, Joe Mills.
