Hannis Keith Hollinghead

Mr. Hannis Keith Hollinghead, 81, of Millry, AL passed from this life Monday, November 11, 2019 at Wayne General Hospital. He was born in Aquilla, AL on Tuesday, November 8, 1938 to Jerry Hollinghead and Eliza Hollinghead. He served in the United State Army National Guard and was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church. He retired as a machine operator at Dairy Fresh. After his retirement Mr. Hollinghead enjoyed farming. Mr. Hollinghead is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Hollinghead; mother, Eliza Hollinghead; 10 Brothers and Sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mavis S. Hollinghead, Millry, AL; 2 daughters, Rhonda Hollinghead Wright, Mobile, AL, Regina Hollinghead Pruett (John), Millry, AL; sister, Annie Jean Creamer, Spanish Fort, AL; 6 grandchildren, Aaron Pruett, Adrianne Wright, Elizabeth Pruett, Hannah Wright, McKenzie Jewel Pruett, Travis Wright; great grandson, Beckett; a host of nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, James Still (Cathy); sister-in-law, Sue Ford. Visitation for Mr. Hollinghead will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Millry, AL with Rev. Donnie Guy and Rev. Mike Chatham officiating. There will be a Lie-In-State from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Thursday at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
