Mr. Gary Wayne Martin, 54, a native of Birmingham, AL and resident of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, July 12, 2015 in Waynesboro. He was a member of Abundant Life Church and was employed as a carpenter in the Home Construction Industry. Mr. Martin is preceded in death by his father, Rev. Harlis G. Martin. He is survived by his wife, Melissa "Missy" Martin of Waynesboro; mother, Shirley Heap (Dawan) of Waynesboro; son, Cody Martin of Denham Springs, LA; 2 brothers, Ronald Martin of Yorktown, IA, Tim Martin (Anna) of Buckatunna; 4 nephews; 2 nieces; pallbearers, Chris Swindol, Brandon Ezell, Jordan Martin, Jacob Martin, Jonathan Martin, and Ronald G. Martin, Jr.. Visitation for Mr. Martin will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Thursday, July 16, 2015 in the Abundant Life Church in Waynesboro. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, July 16, 2015 from the Abundant Life Church in Waynesboro with Dr. Andy Olson officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Waynesboro.
