Evelyn Mozingo

Mrs. Evelyn "Mavie Sue" Mozingo, 87, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Wayne General Hospital. She was born in Meridian, MS on Sunday, March 6, 1932. She was a member of Antioch Assembly of God Church. She worked as a Machine Operator at Wells Lamont Glove Factory. Mrs. Mozingo is preceded in death by her husband, Eliga Mozingo; father, Richard Harris; mother, Willie Emma Waller; 2 brothers, Ancel Harris, Archie Baggett; sister, Aniece Waller. She is survived by her son, Gary Mozingo (Virginia), Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Renee Davis (Tommy), Waynesboro, MS; brother, Melvin Waller, Woodland, TX; sister, Edna Moody, Pasadena, TX; granddaughter, Emily Freeman (Richie); grandson, Joshua Davis; 3 great grandchildren, Trinity Lofton, Reece Freeman, Eli Freeman. Visitation for Mrs. Mozingo will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Davis officiating. Interment will be in Old Yellow Creek Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
