January 2, 1928 ~ January 4, 2018 (age 90) 90 Years OldMrs. Eva Franzine Taylor, 90, a resident of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Brookwood Villa Personal Care Home in Waynesboro. She was born in Waynesboro on Monday, January 2, 1928 to Frank and Maybelle Wells. She was a member of Waynesboro First Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor is preceded in death by her husband, Guy Taylor; infant son, Michael Gebbia; father, Frank Wells; mother, Maybelle Wells; 5 brothers, Edward Wells, Paul Wells, J. D. Wells, Willie Wells, Trenton Raymond Wells; 3 sisters, Sadie Mae Ezell, Merlene Robertson, Rosa Belle Wells. She is survived by 2 daughters, Dale Reddock (Jerry), Carol Blackledge both of Waynesboro; 2 sons, Lane Taylor (Carol) of Waynesboro, Bill Taylor (Kim) of Brandon; 11 grandchildren, David Hudson (Angel), Derec Hudson (Felicia), Danna Chain (Vernon), Archie Hudson (Angela), Chris Blackledge (Robbie), Hunt Blackedge (Amanda), Sheri Kelly (Mason), Natasha Taylor (Eric Waller), Jennifer Johnston (Casey), Gina Taylor (Jay Hayes), Billy Taylor; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers are: David Hudson, Derec Hudson, Archie Hudson, Chris Blackledge, Hunt Blackledge, and Billy Taylor. Visitation for Mrs. Taylor will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 6, 2018 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 6, 2018 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro with Dr. Steve Smith and Rev. Jim McEachern officiating. Interment will be in Waynesboro Cemetery in Waynesboro.
