Eugenie (Plumer) Patrick

Mrs. Eugenie Plumer Patrick, 86, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Friday, March 23, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. She was born in Buras, LA on Sunday, April 5, 1931 to Ernest Plumer, Sr. and Eugenie Mahot Plumer. She was a longtime member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church where she served as a member of the Altar Society. Mrs. Eugenie is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Patrick; father, Ernest Plumer, Sr.  and mother, Eugenie Plumer; brothers, Ernest Plumer, Jr., Errol Plumer;  sister, Jeanne Gomez.   She is survived by her son, Yancy Patrick (Joan), New Orleans, LA; daughters, Christy Patrick, Buckatunna, MS, Carol Williams (Don), Chicora, MS; sister-in-law, Mary Plumer, Prairieville, LA; grandchildren, Jessica Patrick-Esteve (Christopher), New Orleans, LA,  Andrea Patrick, New Orleans, LA,  Matthew Williams, Chicora, MS, Victoria Williams, Chicora, MS; great granddaughter, Stella  Esteve, New Orleans, LA. Visitation for Mrs. Eugenie will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, March 26, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 401 Mississippi Drive, Waynesboro, MS with Monsignor Michael Thornton officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro.   Pallbearers will be Matthew Williams, Christopher Esteve, Wayne Jenkins, Thomas Jenkins, Mark Todd Plumer, Albert Banta, Sr., Albert Banta, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Camille Gomez, Jr. and Russell Guthrie.
