Dorothy Virginia McRae

Dorothy Virginia McRae, 91, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Saturday, December 21, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Wayne County on Friday, July 13, 1928 to A. D. Jordan and Ethel Harris Jordan. Mrs. McRae is preceded in death her first husband, Cecil "Joe" Stewart, Sr.; father, A. D. Jordan and mother, Ethel Jordan; son, James McRae; 2 daughters, Ilene Stewart, Carolyn Stewart; five grandchildren, Eve Stewart, Angie Stewart,  Sandra Clements, Danny Lee McRae, Jr., Tommy Parker; one Brother and five Sisters. She is survived by six sons, Cecil Stewart, Jr. (Brenda), Larry Stewart, Frankie Stewart (Wanda), Dannie Lee McRae, Sr., Dennis McRae, Michael McRae (Melissa), all of Buckatunna, MS; daughter, Ethel Moseley (Luke), Buckatunna, MS; brother, Charles Jordan, Buckatunna, MS; two sisters, Dora Cooley, Terry House, both of Thomasville, AL; 17 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. McRae will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, December 23, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Mark Ferguson officiating. Interment will be in Zion Rest Cemetery in Denham.
