Mrs. Doris Miller, 88, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, October 11, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Wayne County, MS on Friday, September 19, 1930 to Shirley William Stokley and Arintha Ready Stokley. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church of Waynesboro. She worked as a machine operator at the Glove Factory. Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by her husband, James Miller; mother, Arintha Stokley; father, Shirley Stokley; 3 brothers; 5 sisters. She is survived by 3 sons, James Miller, Waynesboro, MS, Gary Miller (Regina), Richton, MS, Kevin Miller (Milly), Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Dianne Dew (Brian), Waynesboro, MS; brother, Herman Stokley, Waynesboro, MS; 2 sisters, Margaret Stokley, Waynesboro, MS, Martha Ann Winkles, Clara, MS; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Miller will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, October 12, 2018 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 13, 2018 with a lie-in-state from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at First Assembly of God Church of Waynesboro in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Manuel Henderson officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
