Billy A. "B. L." Cochran, Sr.

Mr. Billy Alonzo "B. L." Cochran, Sr., 81, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, May 4, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born in Waynesboro on Thursday, March 4, 1937 to Oscar Peale Cochran and Missouri Marion (Mills) Cochran.  He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church for approximately 62 years. He served in the U. S. National Guard for 10 years. He was owner and operator of Cochran's Grocery. Mr. B. L. is preceded in death by his father, Oscar Peale Cochran and mother, Missouri Marion (Mills) Cochran; 3 brothers, Ervin Cochran, Roscoe Cochran, Ravon Cochran. He is survived by his wife, Gale Cochran, Waynesboro, MS; 2 sons, Billy Alonzo Cochran, Jr. (Kaye), Timmy Cochran (Tina), both of Waynebsoro, MS; 3 daughters, Paula Fulkerson, Colleen Foxworth (Roy), Dawn Jenkins (Phillip), all of Waynesboro, MS; 2 brothers, Pete Cochran (Lenora), Waynesboro, MS, Roddy Cochran (Patsy), Section, AL; 15 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. Visitation for Mr. B. L. will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 2 Jones Walker Loop Road, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 07, 2018 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
