Mrs. Betty O. McRae, 89, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, July 21, 2019 in Waynesboro. She was born in Wayne County on Monday, November 11, 1929 to Watson David Bodie and Pearl Malone Bodie. She was a member of Philadelphus Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Betty is preceded in death by her father, Watson David Bodie and mother, Pearl Malone Bodie; husband, Hollis McRae; son, Gary McRae; sister, Mary Lee Britton. She is survived by sons, Noel McRae (Tammy), Waynesboro, MS, Chester McRae, Laurel, MS; daughters, Kathy Easterling (Larry), Sumrall, MS, Debby Gunter (Lamar), Meridian, MS; brother, David Bodie, Phenix City, AL; 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Betty will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home. Interment will be in Philadelphus Cemetery.
